CONDITIONAL SENTENCE DEFINITION Conditional tenses are used to speculate about what could happen, what might have happened, and what we wish would happen. In English, most sentences using the conditional contain the word  if . Many conditional forms in English are used in sentences that include verbs in one of the past tenses. This usage is referred to as  "the unreal past"  because we use a past tense but we are not actually referring to something that happened in the past. There are five main ways of constructing conditional sentences in English. In all cases, these sentences are made up of an  if  clause and a main clause. Active and Passive Voice An action of a subject, in relation to an object, is expressed in two ways. These two ways of expressing action of a subject are known as voices. Active Voice, example → Mom read the novel in one day Passive Voice, example → The novel was read by Mom in one day The structure of same sentence changes when expressed as active or passive voice, but the meaning of a sentence, either expressed as active or passive voice, remains the same. The difference between active and passive voice In the active voice, the subject and verb relationship is straightforward: the subject is a do-er. In the passive voice, the subject of the sentence is not a do-er. It is shown with by + do-er or is not shown in the sentence. East Java is one of Indonesia provinces. It is located on the eastern part of Java Island and near to Madura and Bawean islands. It state in the West neighbor of Bali, across the small Strait of Bali. East Java tourism offer attractions, from historical site like temples to recreational spots like beaches, lakes, volcanoes, marine gardens and wildlife reserves. Magnificent mountain sceneries, include the craters and the famous of Mount Bromo, the "sulfur mountain" of Welirang and rugged line Plateau. The administrative center of the province is located in Surabaya, which is the second largest city in Indonesia after Jakarta and as a major industrial center and business port.
